And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

I had to give up on my wish to get a Willys Pickup finally. A deal on a full size 89 Bronco with the 351W dropped into my lap so I jumped on it. It has some issues but is pretty much a solid rig. Unfortunately it's an Eddie Bower edition so it has electric everything though. I'm not a big doodad fan and at one point whoever had it before me had virtually every gizmo J.C. Whitney offered I think, including a connector for cable television! I am going to be hacking out extra wiring for quite a while that got added on for all that crap. I'm liking this thing though.

ReplyDeleteReealy miss my '60 Suburban w/ a 327 small block and GRANNY gear, Warn hubs, Warn winch. She got so pregnant couldn't reach the pedals...sigh.
