  1. 1972 Bonneville? ....Very nice set up but does it work?......Carburetors on the exhaust side and exhausts on the carb side.....some kind of springs on the exhaust side, don't know what they are for..... ....bizarro world... someone explain please!

  3. I'm not sure if this is a viable setup. However, it is entirely possible to configure an engine this way. Proper cam timing is required. For example, the modern Yamaha Motocross bikes (YZ450f) use a rear exhaust setup. As it allows a more vertical intake port and therefore, better intake flow.
