Frog Lake, on Carson Pass, California

Taken several summers ago, when there was some snow left.

    1. None that I have heard of, but once I did see about a fifteen inch trout cruising the shallows. I suspect it was either a rainbow or a brook.

Just up the trail a mile or so, Winnemucca Lake has a nice population of rainbows, so I imagine it's the same here.

    1. Or the crack of dawn, or during a snow squall, or, heck, just about anytime.
